From September 2013 brings a broad range of skills to the Trust. After spending many years as a designer, running departments and his own practice he became interested in teaching, delivering courses firstly for Adults and then as a qualified teacher of children. He lives on the Thames on the last Thames Sailing Barge ever made.

Lorraine Conterio

Lorraine has a BSc Hons in Animal Biology and Conservation and has environmental education experience working for the Trust for Urban Ecology, Basildon District Council and as a Wildlife Watch leader. She also has experience of doing practical environmental work along the Thames. Lorraine manages our schools programme and contributes to the development of new learning programmes.

Brenna Boyle

Brenna Boyle

Freelance Teacher

Brenna is a qualified zoologist with a passion for enthusing others about the natural world. She specialises in teaching Rivers and Environmental Issues programmes, and enjoys nothing more than discovering shrimp, eels and leeches with school groups on the foreshore. Brenna also runs her own initiative in London, Wild Capital, providing wildlife based activities for adults, families, schools and communities.

Christine is a qualified teacher with many years of History teaching experience and a love of archaeology. She is also a Learning Officer for Imperial War Museums developing and delivering sessions at Imperial War Museum London, Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast.

Laura is a Geography teacher with an interest in foreshore archaeological finds. She is based at both the Docklands and Greenwich sites and also works as a coastal tutor in Kent for the Kent Wildlife Trust.

Jo-Anne has an MA in Cultural Heritage Studies and a BA in History and Archaeology. She has been involved in a number of teaching positions and has worked for the British Library, National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of London. She has published several articles and is always looking to new challenges.

Louisa is a qualified teacher with extensive experience working in outdoor education. She also works at the Islington Ecology Centre where she is the Programmes Officer developing and delivering all their environmental education programmes.
