Great excitement on finding this coin on the Thames foreshore at staff training event at Rotherhithe! This George 1st halfpenny was in perfect condition. All artefacts of historical interest should be reported to the Finds Liaison Officer at Museum of London: email swyatt@museumoflondon.org.uk
