Visiting London

One of the best ways to get to know the London is by looking at it from the perspective of the Thames. Join us on one of our guided visits to the foreshore to discover for yourself the heritage of the capital.

The Thames is the reason London exists at all.

If you are a visitor to London you will discover there are many ways to learn about its fascinating history, including museums, walks and events. The foreshore offers a unique perspective on the capital. Thames Explorer has been hosting foreshore exploration for 28 years and our experienced guides are the best way to discover the secrets of its previous inhabitants. We ask that you take only photographs and learning from the foreshore and not artefacts. Foreshore safety is a high priority for us and we are the publishers of the Thames Foreshore Health and Safety manual. We hold a foreshore permit and liability insurance.
