Part time vacancies
Bookkeeper. £150/day for 1 day per month.
We are looking to form close links with an experienced bookkeeper who is free for 1 day per month to help us keep on top of our accounts. This year we anticipate a turnover of around 160k across both restricted and unrestricted income. Our bookkeeping records are kept jointly on QuickBooks software (so you will need a working knowledge of this program) and on paper at our office in Chiswick, so you will need to be able to travel to west London. If you are interested and have the right skills please send in a CV or covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org or for more details call our office and ask for Simon.
We anticipate we will be looking for a new trustee within the next few months to replace a retiring trustee. Please watch this space for more details.
We sometimes offer short term internships to committed people. Please contact us at email@example.com to express your interest.

We are always keen to hear from volunteers who have a passion for the Thames. If you have a skill you think we might be able to use and have some free time please email us on email@example.com using the subject heading TET Volunteer.
Current volunteer opportunities:
Aquarium maintenance. We have three Thames fish tanks holding 800, 200 and 45 litres which contain fish and invertebrates from the Thames. The tanks run on a complex system of filters and pumps and were previously maintained by local 6th form school students. As they have now left we are looking for an individual or a group of people willing to take responsibility for its upkeep. We would be keen to hear from schools (we can train volunteers) or anyone with knowledge of fishtank systems. This is an unpaid position. If you think you might be able to help us please email firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject heading TET Volunteer – Aquarium.
