Follow up your visit to the mudlarking exhibitions with a fun session to learn about the history of the Thames
Please note: the steps at the Millennium Bridge are steep and have no handrail. Our staff will tell you the best way to navigate them.
This is a reduced price event run in association with Totally Thames.
Meeting by the glass obelisk under Millennium Bridge, on the North Bank, we will explore the foreshore from the bridge to Queenhithe Dock. We are guaranteed to find lots of evidence of London’s previous inhabitants including smoking pipes, pottery and animal bones.
Booking is essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult (minimum age for children is 8 years). Maximum of 2 children per adult.

Please bring hand-sanitizer as there may be no local hand-washing facilities – wash your hands at the first available opportunity after leaving the foreshore. Cover freshly broken skin and eczema with a waterproof plaster or alternatively wear waterproof gloves.
