School trips to London

Thames foreshore and riverbank school trips

Foreshore programmes are run at 10 sites across London from Kew to Greenwich that get people out onto the foreshore to engage hands-on with the history, ecology and geography of the UK’s most famous river.

Outreach Programmes

Outreach to your school

Our outreach teachers can visit your school to deliver river learning as a standalone session or as part of a foreshore trip. We offer free (to qualifying schools) or paid outreach trips.

Outreach Programmes

Online learning via Zoom

Thanks to funding from the Culture Recovery Fund we have been able to translate our key learning programmes into sessions which can be delivered remotely. Sessions are delivered by one of a highly skilled team using Zoom or similar and feature a reusable activity pack sent to your class.

Schools Trips

Thames learning boat trips

Thanks to a collaboration with the Golden Salamander we are now able to offer unique learning trips on a boat. Departing from, and ending at, Chiswick Pier, this programme offers a unique perspective of the changes the river has undergone in the last 200 years.
