General information
The foreshore
Fieldwork on the foreshore takes place near Putney Bridge. The foreshore is typically muddy so suitable footwear and a change of shoes and socks is essential for going onto the foreshore. The Foreshore access point is 12 mins walk from the Jesse Milne Centre. The nearest toilets from the foreshore itself are 15 mins walk away either in the Jesse Milne Centre or in Bishops Park. The staff at Fulham Palace clean the mud from off of the steps for us but they can remain slippery. The steps are wide with a secure handrail.
Jessie Mylne Centre
Indoor sessions at Fulham take place in the Jessie Mylne Centre located within Fulham Palace. The Jessie Mylne centre is connected to the staff car park and the building itself is visible from the end of Bishops Park Avenue. To walk to the Centre follow the main path by the gatehouses as far as Fulham Palace. Before entering the courtyard turn left to follow the path into the car park area with the buiding being on your left.
